In order to improve the dimensional accuracy of the parts over the long term and thus make it easier to adapt them to the vehicle, Porsche Classic redefined every production step. The original series tools have been revised and optimized. New test devices test the dimensional accuracy. For example, each of the approximately 30 fender variants was installed on a vehicle or a test device for testing. In addition, every step of the process – including the time-consuming manual work involved in surface finishing – is documented in order to ensure consistent quality. In terms of maintaining the value of collector's vehicles, Porsche Classic is once again setting an example - in the truest sense of the word. Because the newly launched Porsche Classic original parts can be recognized by the Porsche trademark.
